Default New National Intelligence Estimate on Iran complete

http://thecable.foreignpolicy.com/po..._iran_complete

Quote:
Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL), a former intelligence officer for the U.S. Navy, told The Cable, "The 2007 NIE was a mistake," and this document appears to be more realistic. He urged the intelligence community to take a less technical and more comprehensive look at the Iranian leadership's actions when making such judgments.

while the intelligence community has not determined that Iran has made the strategic decision to build a nuclear weapon, it is working on the components of such a device.
You have to love intelligence double speak.

As its been said in military intel you deal with capabilities not intentions.

The last thing it needs is politicization of intelligence materials and analysis. Temptation is certainly there.

Frankly speaking imo North Korea poses a more urgent attention than Iran. Contrary to what Israel would like the US to believe

North Korea isn't really a big problem. It's a nuisance, sure, but its agenda is in favour of the status quo.

but that's clearly nonsense, otherwise you'd be more concerned about France than Iran.

Which is why the US knows they must keep France as a friend while they don't have to worry much about Iran.

I keep one eye on those frog leg eating, unbathed, surrender monkeys ever since we found their missiles in Iraq post sanctions.

The only nation I remotely trust is our 52nd state, the Arab Socialist Republic of Britonia...
