SH IV 1.5 with TMO 2.0 and the Beta patch.
I know this is probably cheating, but.... Back when I was running stock, airplane contacts on the map would show up as grey when on radar only, then switch to red (when Jap) when they were in visual range. The visual map contacts went away when I loaded TMO. Is there a way to get them back? |

There is indeed a way.
Uninstall TMO. Go into the SH4\MODS\TMO2\Data\Air\ directory. In there, you will see a folder for each aircraft in the game. Go into each one, and delete the <airplane name>_shp.dds file. For example, go into ADB_B5N2_Kate\ and delete ADB_B5N2_Kate_shp.dds Once you've deleted all of those, you reinstall TMO, and you should have the standard aircraft icons again. If you decide to run RSRD, you would need to repeat the process for any aircraft included in that mod as well.

Or make yourself a mod "TMO 2.0 - Shapes, Air". Copy the TMO folders Data\Air into that, clear and add stock shapes. Enable on top of TMO.
This way you won't delete anything, and you'll get shapes for the planes not in stock. For non stock, just copy a suitable shape into their folder and rename to correct name. Same procedure for Sea and Submarine... if desired. Or you can use my "TMO 2.0 - shapes" as base. Just delete unwanted folders http://www.mediafire.com/file/bc3fn9...-%20shapes.zip |
