With the Space shuttle program ending soon, the girlfriend and I would like to see the last 3 launches(STS-133 through STS-135).
As we live in Miami, it'll be quite easy for us to drive back and forth to see the them. The last time I saw a space shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral was back in the late 90's earlier 2000's. And I was quite young so I can't really remember anything but the launch. My question is, anyone have suggestions on the best place to see them from? Also what would be the general budget to expect? The cheaper the better in my opinion. ![]()

This link might give you the info you need.
http://www.launchphotography.com/Shu...h_Viewing.html The best place to watch is on the complex, VIP seating I think it is called, was $100 each but I'd bet they are long gone due the wind down of the program. Probably no tickets left. Titusville is good, lots of traffic, close as most can get, 6/7 miles maybe? |
