Not good. Their critical influence before already was a big concern, but now it has turned even worse.

Hezbollah is an Iran proxy and terrorist organisation. It has rearmed with modern missile weapons in the time since the last Lebanon conflict and is stronger now than ever before. It's strict military structure serves as an example for Gaza-seated Hamas and assists in training of Hamas terror forces. It is the most likely candidate to have initiated the assassination of Hariri, and calls for the destruction of Israel and a Shia/Iran-led autocracy in the region.

More bad news for Israel.

Europeans will love it nevertheless: Hezbollah gained its current power status by democratic mechanisms (if ignoring the small nuisance of Hariri's assassination), so it all can't be so bad.

Some Eurocratic politicians - who by chance also hold a certain antisemitic position in opinion since long - indeed demand the recognition of Hamas and Hezbollah as acceptable political partners, demanding to no longer rate them as Islamic terror organisations.

The next war for Israel is in the makling since longer time. It'a not a question of "if", but only "when". However, I fear the outcome of that is anything but certain. The Israeli defeat last time spoke volumes, the nimbus of being invincible is destroyed.
