Guten Rutsch into the new year!
As the folks in the far eastern hemisphere are already preparing their New Year's Eve, and we here wish people a good year before january 1st, i think the time is right to wish y'all a: guten Rutsch! Literally meaning: have a good slide (into the new year) or in original: ראש השנה טוב meaning "a good start!"
I will meet with some friends and have a relative mild Silvester's evening. We'll have some tasty food, amounds of tasty liquds and may perform some karaoke. I am already training my south-american accent and let a moustache grow to perform "Okie from Muskogie" - I hope the others won't sing as bad as me - however bad singing can be improved by appropriate amounts of alcoholic beverages... So, dear subsim community, sail well into the next year!   (pic slightly unrelated) |
