Allocation of decorations.

Greetings,

I started my current career in August 1939 and completed four shakedown patrols. I have now just returned from my third war patrol (Feb 1940) and have been allocated Iron Crosses and U Boat clasps to be awarded to my crew.
I can award the Iron crosses no problem but when I try to give out the U Boat clasps I am told the crew member must complete at least one patrol. Having done three patrols I find this strange. This is true for any crewman I choose.

I have not enlisted any new crew since taking command.

I am playing with SH commander installed.

Hmmm. Are you giving them out through the game interface (post-patrol)? Or using SH3 Commander?

I have, though not recently, rarely encountered a certain petulance in the game in awarding stuff. What I do now is let the post patrol awards give me a "guideline" on the number of awards, which I then hand out in SH3 Commander.

If you are using SH3 Commander, then I am at a loss.

Greetings desireableroasted,

I was awarding (of trying to) the medals from the post patrol interface not through SH3 Cdr.
