Default Electric motors fail on HMS Daring

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/newshome...rns.6634574.jp

I suppose that propulsion problems aren't so serious on a weaponless ship, no real loss

Why the RN didn't buy the Flight IIA Burkes or build a copy like Korea and Japan I don't know...

Hard headed I guess...

Considering I just got sunk by a Destroyer running me over, I really wouldn't call any ship weaponless..... of course... unless.... his motors failed.

But they can build them over there for less than we could get them there!

I guess this isn't really as quite embarrassing for the commander as when that sub got stuck on the sandbar.

Really you guys traded these for Harriers?
These could carry a Harrier as payload!

Perhaps we'll bring them back...but I'm going to miss the Harrier, a good aircraft, once we ironed out the kinks in her. I'm glad I saw two fly over low the other day, until then I don't think I'd seen them flying in reality.

A sad day, a very sad day.

But could they operate off the carriers the Harriers did?
