'smell of frying bacon offends Muslims'

Well there you go....Brits are afraid of Muslims. A surrender nation.

hard-working cafe owner has been ordered to tear down an extractor fan - because the smell of her frying bacon 'offends' Muslims. Planning bosses acted against Beverley Akciecek, 49, after being told her next-door neighbour's Muslim friends had felt 'physically sick' due to the 'foul odour'.

I don't know about you, but bacon frying is a pleasant, no great smell, to me. Jews aren't great on pork either, but you don't hear them complaining about others cooking pork.

OK first it is the dailymail which makes the reporting suspect, ie, how much have they taken it out of context. Second it sounds like a grumpy old git of a neighbour who is using a spurious reason knowing it might get him sympathy.

It is a storm in a teacup and not a sign of how things really are in the UK.
