Default Advice needed

Hi gents:
Just wondering if you can give me some advice about this.
I´m looking to get SH IV here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silent-Hunte...9221425&sr=1-2
and I have some questions, that surely have been answered in this forum (I have played SH III+GWX, and now I play SH V but would like to sail the pacific) :
1-Does it worth to buy it?
2-Is it the complete game?
3-In case all above are affirmative....which mods should I download and install? You know, eye candy but also those ones that make it realistic....
4-last but not least....does it work with Windows 7 x64?
These are my computer specs:
CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2400 MHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285
Ram 4 GB´s
Windows 7 Ultimate 64

As SH V runs smoothly on this, I think that there will be no problem with SH IV, but...who knows?
Thx in advance, greets from Spain:
Otto

1 - Only you can answer that, but I bought the same last week. It takes some getting used to after SH3 and I've not tried SH5 yet.

2 - Yes (as far as any ubi game is complete!) patched to 1.5 so the majority of mods are designed for this.

3 - I'm more of a U-boat kind of guy, so I've just downloaded OM, but there are many more to choose from. I played stock and didn't like it, at all but think the mods will once again make it a new game.

4 - Yes, I use W7 Pro 64-bit.

Specs wise, you've got better than me in everything except ram, and I'm running 2.93 Dual core, not 2.4 Quad. It'll do fine

The answer for questions 1 & 2 is most definitely.

As for which of the supermods I would recommend TMO 2.0, RFB 2.0, or FOTRS 1.3.

As for the game running smoothly on Win 7 64-bit, the answer is yes. I also have Win 7 Ultimate and SHIV runs just fine.

Don't expect the screenshots to be like your fantastic SH5 ones
