More UBoats

is there a mod that adds more U-Boats.

and now that im making this anyway i would like to ask if there is another download for SH4 effects for SH3. thanks in advance

There's a number of different U-Boats out there.

sorry if I didn't make myself clear about sh4 effects for sh3 i meant the normal one for the ordinary sh3 not gwx (i personally don't like the changes especially the colour coding of ships which was so use full in sh3).

There is a mod which allows you to have the red/blue/green colours back on the map and have GWX

unfortunately, the game only allows you to replace Uboats, not add them.

Is the playable Type XXIII any good, as far as I can tell they were small, slow, under-armed, shallow depth! The only good things I can see are a remarkable 9 seconds dive time and if sunk you only lost about 1/3 of a normal U-Boat's crew!

The Type XXIII were used offensively in the latter period of the war, they only carry 2 eels and no reloads as in RL and be advised that this mod replaces the Type XXI with the Type XXIII.
