Default Can I send a <face palm> to the DNC?

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...ush-in-new-ad/

Quote:

The Democratic National Committee is out Friday with a new television ad that looks forward to the November elections and closes with a cameo from former President George W. Bush.

Entitled "Big Choices," the ad frames the midterm elections as a choice between the policies of President Obama and national Democrats and the policies of Bush and the GOP. It captures a view of idealistic Americana –rolling fields of wheat, windmills, a teacher in a classroom, a welder in a factory–before Bush makes a surprise appearance with a verbal gaffe.
"You fool me, you can't get fooled again," Obama's Oval Office predecessor says in footage used in the ad.

Uh DNC, George W Bush ain't been in office since half past Jan 2009. The "hey it is still Bush's fault" scheme will drive independents away. It is time to put the past behind. We all know what George W. Bush did and we all have our opinions on whether it was good or bad. But what will count in November is what President Obama and the Democrats have done or not done.

Is poking fun at a misstatement of a past president really the core of the 2010 Democratic campaign????? DNC it is time to grow up. You guys are in control. Tell us what you have done (and make it good). But if you want to keep the independents, please knock off the junior high crap. Leave that crap to Palin and the tea<insert word of choice>.

Honestly, I don't know which party is worse. The Republicans or the Democrats these days. Each side seems to have morons in charge of the campaigns. I know that politics has to appeal to the lowest denominator, but is our denominator really this low????

I really want to vote FOR a candidate instead of voting AGAINST a candidate. Is that too much to ask?

/rant I need to switch to decaf. I really do.

I agree, and that is why I consider the political to be the lowest form of discourse.

I want you to remember this the next time you consider the state to be a viable solution to anything. Remember who is in politics and why and, what they do and how they got there. Then I want you to go vote and remember the word "Libertarian".

Seriously, you can't expect much else from the major parties. Wishing for a candidate to vote for amongst them is like wishing for the Blue King to show up in a game of chess. The rules are in place, the battleground is stratified, and the two-party system has ensured that all fans are rooting for black or white, whatever they may think of the pieces themselves. Candidates, especially presidential ones, are not chosen to suit your personal taste or even on the basis of competency, they're chosen on the basis of who is likely to get the most votes. That's what happens when you play their stupid f-ing game.

My vote, as in every election, goes towards the side most dedicated to taking away the "power" in "power struggle", thereby restoring some semblance of statesmanship and order to the Federal Government.

Wow there still running against Bush.

Probably a bad tactic... just a hunch.

I vote we hire Chuck Norris to deliver roundhouse kicks to every politician until their head pops out of their ass and they see the light of day again.

I don't think even Chuck Norris has that kind of patience

After looking at the ratings for the Kardashians, I highly doubt our discussions would generate much income.

I think this is more of a "remember bush? lets not put these guys back into office" rather than a "bush did it!" approach (although the wars, loss of international relations, and economic meltdown all started on his watch). Besides, I remember the GOP making funny cartoons of Democratic leaders.
what is it about those who live in glass houses?
