Bioshock 3 has been announced.
And the great thing is that it is no longer underwater!

It'll be set in 1912(before Bioshock 1) and follows Booker DeWitt a disgraced former private detective looking for a young woman who's gone missing. You end up going to Columbia a floating city.

I like the fact that the world is open enough that you can actually snipe people.
