Am I Missing It, Or Is It Really Not There?

So I'm from the SH3 and SH4 amazing campaign mod days, and have been an on and off visitor to this great community for a long time. When SH5 came out, it was only natural for me to snatch it up and come back and start modding the s*** out of it.

Now, the one thing I always appreciated about the community here, (aside from the grade A five star mods and excellent support) has always been the forums, mainly the stories threads from 3 and 4. Some excellent work in those threads and stuff that really helps one improve their tactics based on the choices of the captains writing said stories. Some of these even had screenshots to support and supplement the story, and I've spent many hours reading these.

Now, it could just be me, but I cannot find such a thing for Silent Hunter 5. No patrol logs and stories topics....Am I just completely dumb and have looked right past it? Or does one really not exist? The screenshots and realistic photos thread has been outstanding, but I miss seeing the logs of our fellow captains!

sh5 is still a baby so it takes time for these things to happen

the main goal of everyone right now is getting the game to be playable thru mods and this is just getting polished and only now do i think people are seeing a good bit of everything they would like to see done with mods so they can start asking whats the next step, which would be the large wholesale merger of mods into single mod downloads or megamods.

after this has matured there will be contentment from the general community and the "extras" that go with the game will grow.

why dont you start a thread asking for this content you want to see and if the timing is right and its popular it might take off

There is too much things in development.. Everything still changing, still evolving.

I don't think even the most determined captains have compled all of the campaigns more than 2-3 times and more for testing purposes than anything else.

I, myself, haven't done anything past first campaign... Neither in original nor in OH II.
