I have updated the file available on my filefront account, it is basically the same as in the original post except that I changed the "starting position" of the dragable stopwatch, to make it fit better to OLC's GUI.

Starting position (top right) :

Drag the tweety bird :

And that's it. The only issue with this positionning is if you drag the stopwatch from its starting pos while you're in the watch-periscope view, it will toggle the flag chart at the same time. Doesn't really matter does it ? :hmm:

direct link : http://files.filefront.com/GWX+stopw.../fileinfo.html

As previously stated and advised in the title, all credits go to the original authors, ie OLC JonZ and GWX team, I simply made it for my own use and thought it would be worth sharing.

Links don't work.

Still doesn't work. I would very much like this mod.

@ Mikhayl;

A fine idea with a draggable stopwatch, BUT it´s at the Obs-scope/UZO I really would want to have the function to start and stop.

I use the Ubermod 2.4.2 and always use the obs scope with its high magnification to get an early estimate on the target speed. Having the posibility to start and stop at these stations would make my job far easier.

I see no point having a draggable at the attack station.:hmm:

(Today I wait until the target touch the vertical line at Obs-station, press F3 to reach the attack station to start the clock and then return to "obs" only to repeat the procedure as the target stern leave that vertical line. => I dont get enough accurate readings according to my taste.)

Cheers

/OB

I believe it is possible to add the draggable stopwatch to the various stations by manually adding some additional script via Wordpad/Notepad to the "dials.cfg" and "menu.cfg" files.

Link to previous post: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...light=dragable

I must admit I haven't tried it myself but someone might like to give it a try to see if it works, rather than waiting for the d/l link to be fixed.

Try this and let me know if you have any problems. I ran a quick test on my machine and if all works well then I will put it up with a proper readme.

JSGME ready file.

Got it. Your link works well.

Will soon go home and install the thing.

Much appreciated Mikhayl.
I assume it also works with OLC GUI Special, right?
