Watch out for facebook ads!

I just had this happen, thought i'd share it. I clicked on one of the "free"

wallpaper ads (family guy wallpaper) in the facebook ad section and my virus software went crazy. It listed it as a high risk trojan virus!!!

Not really a surprise, though, as nothing is truely free, they want something in return.

So just a "heads-up!"

There are lots of wonderful free (GNU) programs etc. on the web, but ads are generally not the way to get them

I hate those freakin roll over ads that pop up to fill half your screen when you roll over them by accident when trying to close the page

Not nearly as bad as the music ads that start blaring music when you roll over then

Or the newer ads that push everything down out of the way so you can focus on the ad....
