Default About to get this again...

So tomorrow im thinking of going to my local gamestop and getting this game,...again. I had it once but someone...(looks at dad suspiciously)...used my disk as a cup holder. So, if i get this tomorrow. what version will it be? I want to add some mods like the modern subs. Thanks for the help.

I would advise getting the Gold edition.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silent-Hunte...8573810&sr=8-2

It comes with the U Boat expansion.
Regardless of whether you are interested in the U Boat side of the game or not, this expansion is the only way to get your game patched up to 1.5.
The 1.5 patch is not available as a free standalone download.
So, if you don't buy the Gold edition, you'll end up needing to buy the UBM Expansion disk to get the patch.
Why?
Because most mods here are made for the game patched to 1.5, and will not work in 1.4.

I got it for the more agreeable price of 19.99 plus tax. Indeed, a worthy title for any submarine fan, or WWII fan.
