Career Mode

Is there anyway to increase the frequency of enemy contacts? I am thinking maybe there is a setting in the cfg file. I am bored, this game seems so benign so far. I am on the first two missions. Please tell me the action picks up.

It does. I got bored because sinking the same ship over and over again, but never because no contacts on map.
