Consolidated guidance, mod overload, help!

Hey all,

I'm returning to SH, and as always the refresh of what’s out there dance starts... meaning it will be days of trying stuff out before I actually play... So I was looking for some more guidance for both SH4 and 5 so I can get out of port sooner than later.

I have played SH5 with env mod and am liking it though it takes some getting used to. I tend to prefer complete overhauls that still allow some flexibility for difficulty.

I fell in love with GWX in the SH3 days and used lots of great mods since... What I'm looking for now is list of mods that people use together to bring SH5 to its peek (at this time). I know it’s a largely subjective question but I want to get the most from the looks, functionality as a more casual player, immersion, and streamlined interface (sorry, I can't keep running around the boat for some basic orders to be initiated)

Additionally, and perhaps easier, is where have we netted out with SH 4? Is there a big mod that has incorporated all the latest and greatest? I saw the interiors mod and my jaw dropped!

Please feel free to be opinionated as there is just so much to choose from and I'm looking for more guidance than suggestions...

Also, I want to send my greatest thanks and respect to the modding community here... It’s YOU guys that are like super shops that fully realize the potential of many of the games today. I've been a game producer/director for nearly 18 years now and have lead several world class franchises... Many I'm sure you have played over the years but at the end of the day I'm going home and playing YOUR work!!!
