Restart if attacked!?

After spending out all torpedoes, destroyed escort, I move in with a surface gun, everything is nice until merchants start firing at me with their pathetic guns, at the same moment as some of them fire the shell at me (it didn't even flew at me) my computer restarts

! WTF!
It is not top end machine 2 GB of RAM, Intel Dual core 2,56 Ghz and ATI HD 3660... wht is going on? Is this some stupid bug? The latest drivers ofcourse.
