How to change game resolution in Windows 7?

I've been away from SH3 for many times, but now I'd like to play again.
I use Windows 7 now and have problem with this OS. When I used WinXP I could change game resolution with SH3_SP2_Res_fix, it was very simple and usefull and game looked very well on my 19' LCD using 1280x1024 native resolution. Today I've installed SH3, patched to 1.4 and tried to force system to use 1280x1024 resolution in SH3 with Res_fix, but with no success. Do you know how to do it in windows 7?

PS. Tried again and now it's probably OK - on screenshots I see 1280x1024x24 BPP description. But after hitting PrintScreen button game freezes and I have to use Task Manager for closing.

I used one of the hi-res mods but like you it destroyed the ability to screen capture. In my case it would cause CTD.
