Sound Behavior

I know where the files are for specific sound effect.

In this case there are four separate files for the engine sounds.

There is the set for the diesel exterior, electric exterior, Motor loop Diesel, and electric loop interior.

That being said, all of these sounds are behaving in the same incorrect manner. Only the volume changes with the change in power settings.

This either means there are four seperate controllers, or there is one controller for all four sounds.

Does anyone know how to correct this silly bug? For that matter does anyone know how the sounds are controlled by the game. Is it the Sdl file?

I too would love it if that was fixed. How they missed that in any of the patches if bizarre.

in SH3/4 the Sdl file was the master sound mixer for the game. All sounds had to be 'registered' with it or you didn't hear them. I don't see why SH5 would be any different.

that would be a nice mod! Otherwise these volume down thing destroys the athmosphere...
