Is weather ever really fixed? I'm using GVX 3.0 gold and MaGui final version.

Not fixed per se. But your feelings of gloom will be assuaged after a certain amount of time spent under the weather. The weather in SH3 is so far un-fixed. We make do with what we got.
![]() I can let you in on a little secret: Save your game every couple of game days while the weather is still good. Quit your patrol, then reload the save. The weather should be good for a couple more days. Rinse and repeat. Not guaranteed to provide sunny weather during your entire patrol, but it's better than being stuck in pea soup for days at a stretch. It works for me. ^^ Confirmation appreciated. ![]() |

There is a mod that cuts the duration of bad weather.
I don't recall it's name though. I am on the road and don't have my sh3 comp with me. Someone else may help... ![]() EDIT: check here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=174225 |

I must be the only person that has no problem with the weather in the game. It is more realistic than you think, bad weather is very common in the North Atlantic and where I live, and can last a long time.

I wish something could be done with the fog too, I encounter fog in the game, but not under the right circumstances, you should be able to have very heavy fog when the seas are calmer and not heavier. I consider the heavy fog you get with 15m/s winds as the effects of drizzle and rain which also cuts down visibility.
