Here's what to do if the action doesn't fit the field of view.
Some digital cameras come with photo stitching software, but nobody said they have to be real photos you're stitching ![]() First, those who don't have any stitching software can grab Image Composite Editor from Microsoft research while it's still free. You can get it here http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/...roups/ivm/ICE/ Fire up your game and take a series of overlapping screenshots like in the following image. For a classic panorama you need to stay in the same position and just rotate the camera in the horizontal plane (if you do this right you'll have less distortion and croping of the final image). This corresponds to the Rotating Motion in ICE (see pic. 2). There are also options for Planar Motion where you just pan the camera along the object. ![]() Start ICE, hit New and select the screenshots you just created. You'll get a preview. Hit the Automatic Crop button to select the maximum rectangular area possible and then adjust the export options. You may want to scale the resulting image. When you're done hit Export to disk and enjoy. And next time when you're visiting a sub apply the same technique and share the interior views ![]() ![]() |
