Default Yaaay! I finished the tutorial patrol!

Hey all... Got SH5 today, started the campaign in realistic difficulty setting, and I have to admit, I am enjoying my experience up to press on the whole. The permanent internet connection is still a bitter pill to swallow, and the minor crash to desktop I suffered whilst attempting to talk to a crew member was an annoyance. But I have a compulsive saving disorder, so this wasnt really much of a problem, although it did help me to realise why I have this. haha.

But yeah... loving the graphics, loving the frame rate (as I was expecting far worse - I am using Nvidia 250 GTS, and this game seems to favour Nvidia's from where I'm sitting as I'm sure most of you know).

I haven't got around to modding as yet, and the stock UI is a strange one compared to the older titles. But it seems to be kinda streamlined in a good way, and I'm glad the compass is back there. rofl.

Mouse input is abit sharp, resulting in what seems like a choppy framerate, even when its not. I noticed hands missing off a clock in the stern torpedo room. Just a couple of things really. But I'm overall liking it people and I cant wait to start off for real now I'm back from the tutorial patrol. I've no doubt that in time, and mods, this will become the ultimate sub sim experience! It just needs a little TLC. . haha!

Take it easy fellow subsimmers!

Ps. CTRL + S!!!! :P
