Hey guys.
Just jumping back into SH3 w/GWX after a year or so layoff and was curious about something. When I start a new career with SHC3.2 I seem to remember the flotilla names being the actual German names for the flotillas. In my game they are currently 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. Can anyone confirm that's what they are when you have GWX loaded? I am paranoid I screwed up the install. That said it seems GWX is working. My OCD won't let me get past the flotilla thing though. Thanks for any info! ![]() ![]() |

It might be Commander that does that, but I'm pretty sure GWX does it properly. When you are selecting your flotilla at the start of a career look at the map. I think it has the proper names.
On the other hand when are you starting? They changed to numbers at the beginning of 1940.

The important part you haven't included is when you are starting your career.
Pre-1 Jan 1940 : German names (Weddigen, Saltzwedel, Wegener) Post-1 Jan 1940 : No German names But I guess you would know this, as it's explained in the SH3Cmdr User Guide. |
