Default Your personal bucket list

What are the things you'd like to do before you die?

I'd like to do the following:

get a speeding ticket while biking
see various parts of the world that interest me
find a mate
live somewhere warm
live somewhere next to a beach
live somewhere which is relatively bike-safe
live somewhere with the above where the local politics won't make me sick (given I think I'd get island fever real fast, that really leaves only one place in the U.S.)

Live life to the fullest and ensure my kids were well provided for.

Own a decent motorcyle one more time.

Fly an ultralight.

See my band have some success.

That's about it.

A few places I want to get to on Earth:

Bhutan
India
Australia
the Southwest Pacific (Solomons, etc)

A few places I want to go back to, but with my kids:
East Africa
Nepal
SE Asia (all over)
Europe

I'd like to go on a trip on a square-rigged ship, too.

Regarding beach places in the US, I'm afraid it's island fever or nothing, lol. I suppose Key West might be OK, but Hawaii is so far superior to the West Coast or the Rest of Florida (or anywhere in TX) that it's not even comparable, IMHO. I love New Mexico, but Kaua'i was one of the few places I've been that I could instantly imagine not wanting to leave. Course then you do, and it's a bazillion jet hours to get anywhere, LOL.

You could of course leave the US if you have a portable job (physician, for example).

I'd like to travel Europe, maybe explore Czech Republic. My great-grandparents immigrated from there when it was still Czechoslovakia, and it would be a real treat to explore my roots.

Travel on one, or most of Indias hill railways
Take a world cruise
Visit Antartica (on a cruise ship)
Orbit the earth (by the time i'm old this will be possible)

Any of you lot that are young, and without kids should do some serious travel before you get tied down if travel is on the list. It's certainly possible with kids, but more expensive and complicated. If you find the 3d world places on the list and string them together, it can be sort of cheap, too.
