I currently have moved to my MODS folder:

Now then.. where do I find the different UIs.. such as the SH5 Enhanced one..

Hiya,

OK, that's the base as such

I would use AllDials one (enhanced sh5) works like a charm

The other mods as you guess are optionals

Ohh the twisty thing, that's the wire some u-boats had around the top of the periscope/s to help disperse the wake (less noticable)

Will edit with a jsgme snapshot maybe show you what order etc, here it is ............. and a direct link

Ohh and rem, TDW updates regular so keep an eye on the thread

Hiya,

Yes, you have the feel of the new sh5 ui with lots of nice touches thrown in

If you scan through his thread it explains howto change to say sh3 style

I just stuck with this version as i wanted a sh5 feel rather than using the sh4 or sh3 ui

So it keeps my sh collection seperate and each has its own identity lol

Hold on a few i'll get a snapshot of how mine looks brb lol

pics Ctrl+Z toggles all UI off, sometimes you may need to press twice to toggle all ui back

here with ui

Here after hitting Ctrl+Z

Not used any other ui option (read last post

Hope that helps

One thing, I installed the TDC All dials mod.. and going to either Obs peri and Attack Peri there are no dials..

The order in which I have them is:

Twisty Periscope
Enhanced Recognition Manual
jimimadrids Map tools
All dials TDC
SH5 E

Thank you very much for quick replies as well

Hiya,
I have the enhanced rec man in by default (comes in the alldials i guess)

Going from top to bottom of jsgme my order for what you have posted is .......................

Alldials (SH5 E)

All Dials

Then i would try aftere the above............

Jimi's tools then lastly Twisty

See how that works, i can't see you needing to add the enhanced man as i don't have to

Also, if you're gonna stick with TDW's UI i would grab his TDC Dials 1.02, if you do add his TDC first then the above after

Maybe this is why i have the enhanced rec man (need sleep bad lol my minds turning to mush)

Anyways see how that pans out for ya

OK so.. I now have ( I think) the SH5E UI.. however I am missing the compass on the minimap.. instead it is on the bar at the bottom of the screen next to my CO2, Battery, Fuel, etc bars

Edit: from ur screens it appears thats right.. but where did I see that you could get a full compass in the TAI?

Hiya,
Think that's in the 1.9 version

Think it might be out anytime

So keep checking TDW's thread, as i say he updates/mods things quicker than a woman can spend on ya credit card :P

ps: ohh you can get a small bearing around your boat but only so far in the last 2 zooms, hence i guess soon with 1.9 we'll have all nice draggable gizmos

Personally I use 1.9 SH5 Enhanced with Minimal Dials. The rest of the dials are there, there's a little toggle button, but they just aren't displayed the whole time.

The twisty thing is pretty sweet, but I use one that only adds it to the attack scopes for no particular reason (was just one of the first mods I tired making for SH5 hehe).

Don't like the SH4 style tools, so stick with the normal ones.

I also use Church's SH5 Keys, so my bindings are different. F = Compass, Y = teleport, U = message box toggle, N = nomograph, V = Lock Target.

yea I found that some of Church's Keys are changed now that I have this UI put on over top.. should I just put Churchs keys over top of this instead? or will I lose functions?

Doesn't matter which order you install them, since only Church's affects the command.cfg. However you will have to go into the DarkWraithUserOptions.py file and make sure you remap the keys there to something that's not used in Chruch's or else you'll lose Church's functionality.

Like "C" is Crash Dive in Church's, but the Compass in DW, so I remap the key in the options.py file to be "F" then use F for Compass and can still Crash Dive.
