Greets Amigos!
I know I am in the right place. I've been watching a tutorial on advanced targeting with sonar (over my head, but in for a penny ....). There is a sonar contact reported at 5,000 yards, and reported as heading 325. Now, I thought that means if I wish to intercept to his current position (I've not yet started to track him - I know to ping him every couple of minutes to establish his heading/speed {is this right? Seems a ping gives you away}), he is 325 degrees off my bow. But the tutorial just said the three two five means a heading of 32, at five thousand yards. Huh? I'll continue watching, but wanted to ask this before I forget it. Thanks Troop Chip (YTN) |
