Default Steel Panthers updates

No, not Steel Beasts and not Steel Fury, don't mix up the three (like you did, Neal, when throwing together those two resource stickies!).

Steel Panthers Main Battle Tank has gotten an update to version 5.0 in March 2010.

Steel Panthers World War II has gotten an update to version 4.0.

The updates work with both the downloadable free and the commercial CD versions of both games. All patches listed must be applied in sequence, they are not cumulative.

After that long time (more than ten years, or am I mistaken?), SP probably still are the best games of their type and scaling, and developement seems to go on. If you do not know them, try them out, they can be gotten legally for free - in the free versions, only the screen resolution is limited. The functionality of the games is all there.

Got both of them and all up to date. I enjoy both versions, glad these guys gave us the updated version of the old classic Dos games.

Ah, nice. I occasionally play SPMBT, though I'm not very good at it.

Good to see these old wargames still being updated, these kinds of games are hard to come by these days...

Possibly the best wargame series ever...i always get back to them, i bought the full versions from shrapnelgames just to get the highest resolution possible and the games continuously get improved over time again and again.
