Default Question to Graphics Guys

A year ago I wrote a program that creates the Normals dds files for SH4.
You needed no other Graphics program to use it.

If there is interest in this tool,
I'll adjust the Code to create the Normals dds files as they are now in SH5.

The code is based on Nvidia's Texture Tools source code.
So it's like haveing thier Normals filter in PhotoShop.
But you don't need PhotoShop.

Hi Privateer, just noticed this thread. What export options does it contain?

I have photoshop, so don't really require, but i'm sure that there would be many here interested in such an app for SH5. DDS exporting can be a pain.

Edit: Check out this post (I discovered that SH5 can Import at 32.32.32.32f) http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...&postcount=162 Could your app support this mode as well.

From the source code:

static const uint D3DFMT_A32B32G32R32F

So yes it can support that format.
It would only take some adjustments to the way I have it
setup now.

That's why I asked if people were interested in something like this.
I'm working on something else that may include this converter.
But It's a stand alone program right now.

And in going through the Source code,
I found it may do a better job at converting images then the Photoshop plug in.
I've also downloaded the latest source code from Nvidia which fixes some issues with
past versions.
