I am Stuck Outside my Sub

Stuck Outside my Sub

I just updated my UI Darkwraith mod and succeeded in getting the SH3 dials. But...

I loaded the game and sudden I was running backwards through the sub and then through the back of the sub and then left out in the water.

Seems I was in some sort of camera mode and I can't get inside the sub now.

What should I try?

Nevermind, I removed: Adjusted Running - Walking Speeds v 1.0

And I no longer have the issue...

I thought you were like me and didn't immediately think to talk to the guy who just said "I have to go now" (at port if you still don't know what I'm talking about)

Did you try saving the game and then re-loading the save without exiting the game this should put you back inside

This reminds me of an issue i had once.. pretty funny thou.

I was standing on the ladder between the hull and the conning. And by some reason i was able to order periscope depth and the boat started going down with me still on the outside. i was walking around on the deck and standing in the conningtower as a ww2 Davy Jones holdin the rudder 50m below the surface. Was actually a pretty cool experience. i surfaced and started walking around again and back into the boat but even with serveral attempts i havent been able to replicate that event again..

Reloading does help that problem, as well as the one where the crew won't come up onto the conning tower when surfaced.

Hopefully, patches will just eliminate the silly stuff. Right, though, it is cool to experience.

I actually had the bosun say 'No Sir' to me today! I asked him to do the propaganda thing for moral and he refused. I have the mod that is supposed to make them a might fine crew. He is going to have a mighty fine court martial when we get back to port!

So far, none of the glitches have crashed the game. SH3 and 4 had game stoppers, particularly when mods were competing. This version is more stable in that way.
