Can you play SH3 in Full Screen in Windows 7?

Hello

I've just installed Windows 7 on my machine and although SH3/GWX run perfectly without any problems I cannot seem to be able to run it in full screen unless I change the resolution to 1024x768.

It is not really a big deal to change the screen resolution each time before you play the game, but I was wondering if anyone has managed to run it in full screen without having to do so.

Thanks a lot in advance

I assume you have a wide screen monitor and are bummed because SH3 doesn't fill the screen?

Some folks are working on a widescreen mod but it is still under development.

I run mine @ 1920x1200.

This is what worked for me ( Win 7 64bit with 4870x2 CrossFire setup)

Install fresh SH3
Install GWX
Install mod Res fix
Change Res to 1024x768.
Start the GWX executable.
Hit Alt+Esc to go back to the desk top while GWX loads
Change Res to 1920x1200
Enjoy GWX at beautiful resolution

PM me if you have any questions. Not sure if this will work for everybody, it has worked great for me

Mel, that is the resolution it runs in. I have Windows7 64 bit and 4 installs of SH3. On one of them, I have to set the resolution to 1064x768 manually, and on the other three, the game sets it by itself and the game runs in full screen. Thank you, Mr. Gates!
Another quirk on my machine. If I use the resolution patch and change the resolution, it still plays in 1024x768 but it drops my frame rate into the single digits.

Thanks a lot for all the help guys. I've installed the High Resolution Fix and I am able to run the game at 1620x1050 (my maximum resolution) without any problems.

Happy Days
