Sorry for double posting this (Have it in my [WIP] high resolution UI thread) but more likely to get answers on the Main Forum.
Having trouble getting some of my created dials to do anything. For example I created dials for the following Straight run and the Torp Impact. They do not seem to update there values at all, its as if there associated values are not being made available to them. These are the values I've set up for the dials I created on the TDC Page: [Dial84] Name=reaper7_Torpedo_Straight_Leg Type=20; DIAL_TORP_STR_RUN Cmd=Set_torpedo_straight_run Dial=0x3B200001 CrtVal=0x3B200003 NewVal=0x0 DialVal=20,340 RealVal=0,12500; meters Circular=Yes CmdOnDrag=Yes [Dial89] Name=reaper7_Torpedo_Impact_Angle Type=21; DIAL_TORP_2ND_GYROANGLE Cmd=Set_torpedo_2nd_gyroangle Dial=0x3B2D0001 CrtVal=0x3B2D0002 NewVal=0x0 DialVal=-180,180 RealVal=-180,180; degrees Circular=Yes CmdOnDrag=Yes Now I've noticed also if I set the stock dials that are on the TDC page to be used onscreen instead (I have them set ouside the Page Dispaly so only my created ones show onscreen) that they do not show up onscrenn at all. Its as if the Devs have removed them from the game altogether. All stock dials show onscreen except for these 4: 1. Straight Run 2. 2nd Gyroangle 3. Leg 4. Pattern angle Can anyone else confirm this (If so the Full TDC is broken). ![]() If this is the case it there any workarond for geting the values for Straight run and the Torp Impact to my created dials? ![]() |

these are settings for the FaT-aale. availability starts in 1943, so there's no need for them in SH5

Umm, so they are not moddeled in SH5. Darn, guess I'm gonna have to redo my Panels as I've included 2 of them.
If there not available till 1945, does that mean we can not support them if expansions are brough out or custom campaigns are created past this time. Strange why they removed them from working in the backgroung though. |

they are available from March/April 1943 on. FatI (steam) FatII (electric) this is why I meant there's no need for them in SH5 when it is ending in May/June 1943 (?).

Sorry read your post wrong. Hmm not do I keep them in or remove them.
Still don't know if there actually updating though. Maybe I can set up a single mission after that date to get the pattern running T IIIa FaT II torpedo and test to see if they work. As it stands now if have the the stock dials set up to appear onscreen from with in Editor: ![]() But they don't appear on screen, surely they should have non updating dials displayed (Like my created ones show up - just don't update). ![]() Or are they hardcoded to only show up when the U-boat is carrying the correct loadout ![]() Guess its time for some testing. |

Ok did some testing by using the amunition.upc mod to enable all torpedo types.
Loaded up some fatII torps and tried the TDC still was no dials in the Mod. so went back to default TDC and noticed the Fat/Lut button over each torpedo selector. When clicked it brought up the Fat/Lut dials ![]() Tried the Dials with the following results: 1. Straight Run, was able to set dial to any value between 0m and 2500m 2. 2nd Gyroangle, could onle select -90 or +90 degrees ? 3. Leg, could only select 800 or 1600 ? 4. Pattern angle, was unable to select a value (Couldn't move needle) Should all value be selectable on the dial? |
