Default Survivors

Has the ability to pick up suvivors deliberatley been left out of SHV?? In the early days of the war, especially before America became involved, it was not uncommon to warn ships that they were to be sunk allowing crew and passengers to get in to lifeboats etc. I think the game would really benefit from picking up POW's and getting extra renown for them. The lifeboat graphics are already in the game from the infiltrate a spy mission.

No. I appreciate that a submarine isn't designed to hold prisoners and the chances are if they were heading out on patrol instead of returning they probably wouldn't get involved anyway but the option would be nice even if there was a limit placed say 5-10

the game does have a command 'rescue survivors' but I haven't implemented it in my UIs. Maybe I'll add it and see what happens.

That's left over from SH4's pilot rescue missions, I think.

Sorry for the 'not mod-related' postings. But thanks for the link! I didn't know that there was more than 1 sub involved.
