Guys,
I bought SH5 via steam when it came out, played it and was dissapointed various issues. It seems now that the modding community have brought the sim to a level where it can compete with SH3 with all the mods. I understand that the steam version cannot be "patched" with TDWs Hydrophone patch due to copy protection. My question is to understand what the patch does exactly. Does it enable you to manually use the hydrophone station? Or does it fix the hydrophone operator ai? I would of course like to use the station myself, but this would mean re purchasing the game. So is it worth it? will this mean that the ai sonor operator calls out contacts without me asking him to follow a contact i already know is there? If so i will buy the game again. Thanks in advance. |
