Default 'porting ships to SHIII?

Hi to all my Buddies from SHIII!
Is it possible to transport some of the ships from V to III?
Will they be easier on the system, my computer is getting on a bit and I would like to play with as good as skins as I can get till I buy a "SHV ready" computer.

SHV ships are way more detailed and resopurce heavy than the SHIII ships...
this is better quality, made for totally NEW pcs...
if you can barely run SHIII, dont even bother to buy SHV methinks.

Another negative about using your deck gun is that you are definately DETECTED, which has long term effects on your relationship with aircraft. -snestorm
