You used to be able to manually alter your delta renown in previous SH but I don't know if this still applies

personally editing the renown seems arcady to me.

Yes the whole renown / xp thing is arcade like.

But since its a game I guess they have to throw in some sort of carrot on the end of the stick.

Do an advanced search in file contents for the term renoun in your game save directory, i.e. /documents/sh5/yadda yadda.
