Default Well?

After reading these forums one does not know if SH5 is worth buying. The videos look amazing...

Folks who have purchased the game, would u suggest waiting or buying?

Depends. As it is right now, there's alot to like. But theres gonna be things that piss you off. Im soldering through it and still enjoying myself (with a hefty dose of mods).

If you can accept its flaws, and keep playing regardless until more patches come...then by all means get it. It's still entertaining. Plus, the mods are improving it every day that goes by. If you can't accept it for what it is, then don't bother till a few patches.

A lot of the enjoyment factor revolves around your experiences with the authentication servers. Some people have no troubles what so ever and yet some can't log on and play on the weekends due to the servers not responding.
And sometimes it seems to me that some of the people who do not have troubles with the authentication servers do not even believe when people say they have troubles. And vice versa.

Edit: For the record I have not yet purchased SH5 so my opinions are based solely off of what i have read here.

If i were you I'd take the advice in the subsim review, which is to wait to see if Ubisoft patch the game properly.

Visually it's stunning but for now that's all to. To many flaws, bugs and unfinished/missing features. Never seen a game this incomplete released.

agreed with ragtag, needs a serious patch, im getting through the game though and it is fun. seem a lot of stuff is broken though.

mods are definately a necessity to play though. kinda fun to keep track of them all and see what is happening step by step, but i kinda wish i could fast forward a year or so to see how all their hard work really pays off.

thankyou modders.
