what about dynamic shadows ?
I think SH4 far superior to SH5 but for the dynamic campaign maybe. don't wanna spend hours running around in my sub ! keltos |

Getting a little more grandiose, how about smoke and cloud effects? Those rock in SH5. As well was compressed air usage when surfacing and firing torpedoes.
Aside from those (and interiors, of course) there isn't really a whole lot. |

I played it yesterday and apart from the wave effect on the scope, I don't think the 3 DDs I sank looked better than in SH4 nor the torpedo damage texture which is one grade down from that in RFB... but yes we should look to see how to include some SH5 effects in SH4, I'm sure some are possible sticking with SH4 I'm afraid ! keltos |
