Default Bad day for Royal Navy and Bad AI... (pictures included)

So i started the patrol with a mission to enter Plymouth to search for some ships that I can sink.

First I saw a small convoy protected by one destroyer So I decided to sink the destroyer first. But every torpedo I fired at him went under him. As he was above water. I lost 7 torpedoes in this attack... 1 one of them hit a merchant. Maybe they should fit airplane propeler on the torpedoes instead of ship propeler.

Flying destroyer...

So I got to nearest port to refit and continue with my mission.

In canal I got warship contact So I got into position to attack the warship

Getting into position...

It was a carrier

I shot some torpedoes at her and also hit a destroyer.

Then I went away as other destroyers did`t do nothing to catch me...

The location of attack...

Hi,

maybe first destroyer was out of fuel and therefore somewhat less heavy

But, can you tell me please, in the first shot, is he dropping depth charges?

He could not have found you in that situation. Could he?

So I continued my way to Plymouth. When I got some Warship contacts...

I plotted intercept course... into my standard position for such attacks...

It was another carrier..

My standard position for attacks...

So I sunk another carrier on same patrol...

But what a shock!!! One of the destroyers drop some depth charges somewhere in the area!!!

Because I was out of torpedoes I went back home...
And again got some warship contacts...

Contacts...

One of them is the destroyer group that still carrier I sunk before...

Protecting the non existent carrier...

And in the other circle... 2 battleships...

I was out of torpedoes so I let them go...
The destroyer group protecting non existent carrier was eventually back on my tail. They always matched my course and speed...

But I got lucky and there was an isle so I crash them into it...

So I went back to base.

"captain? Perhaps a search pattern?"

Well, how about "perhaps you just STFU and remember who the Kaleun is on this boat!".

Seriously, the game sure does at least look purdy. Even the little Pacmans.

When I got back I started another patrol, this time I decided to enter Scapa flow.

Guess what ? There was another carrier in the port.

Bum...

So I went out for hunting but didn`t sunk anything so I went back into harbour and... there was another one...

Bum 2....

Then I went to port and refitted so I could continue my patrol. I found a large convoy and some destroyers. Because it was boring I started to attack the destroyers and eventually they started following me.

Here boys...

Both of my periscopes were max out. So they could easy follow me.

Then one of them moved into position for attack...
But it didn`t...

Near the port German airplanes and destroyers sunk them...

I would be embarrassed and ashamed if I was responsible for the state of SH5.

That's only because you care about the genre, I doubt the devs have the same attachment.

Damn thats some funny stuff happening there ...

So do the British destroyers always play follow the leader??

The game was hide and seek, played over a million square miles of ocean. The losers died.

You know what the best part is? There's no buttons or orders for search patterns.
