Views on sub propeller spray?

I was wondering what you folks thought about the propeller spray animation? While most of the graphics are superb it just seems to be oddly out of place as it looks quite cheap and unrealistic. In fact it looks almost exactly like they looked in Sh3/4. As if no progress was made at all on the propeller effects in the water.

For instance does a sub propeller really make that kind of spray effect?

And one other issue that i see remains from SH3/4 is the whole back end of the sub sticking out of the water with the propeller in the air during heavy seas. It just doesnt look right.

Should it not be mainly the bow of the sub bobs in and out but the stern stays firmly planted under the surface in all weather?
