hey gang,
i'm getting a really weird issue. i took the mission off the east coast of england as the first mission, and managed to sink a couple of freighters without getting pegged by any DDs, but now I have a destroyer escort following me everywhere I go. Doesn't matter if I change direction while well out of his visual range, if i sit deep and silent for half a day, no matter what evasive action i take, he mimics me perfectly. what makes this even WEIRDER is that if i turn to face him, he turns to the exact same bearing as me and matches my speed, so he maintains a near constant distance from me no matter what i do. it's like he's playing with me, trying to pretend he can't see me, but mimicking me perfectly anyone else got this one? |

I also got the same problem, but I let the escort follow me to Kiel, that the the escort gets sunk by friendly ships around the area.

Yes, several times. It seems like he goes away if you stumble upon another ship though, but not all the time.
Just wait until you get around 4 or 6 of these guys shadowing you... really messes up the time compression after a while. |
