Default Campaign progress

Hello.
I like a new campaign style with all hese missions etc. But interface is not completely clear for me. Could you tell me, what do all these crosses mean?

One more question: how do i find what time is it in game? It only shows date...
Thank you.

The crosses displays how much of the campaign you've completed. Do the sub-missions (pun intended) and they add up to the score of the complete campaign. Since I haven't finished Total Germany as of yet, I have no idea what the outcome of it will be and if the failed missions will have impact on further campaigns etc.

For the time, press O to get the clock and then hover your mouse over it for date and year.

Crosses are (strategic) victory points. Complete the "campaign goal" (for example in your pic British Coastal Waters is a completed goal, while British Supplies is not) and you get those victory points.

Doesn't matter how many patrols you complete. You're still roaming freely, may meet a ship outside of your current "mission", sink it, and find out it completes something for the "campaign".

this guy speaks the truth, well he should know

if you complete most of the objectives and get the big stars, you get a Major victory, wich may change the course of the history, if im correct.

Not necessarily! In some of the campaigns, we measured the actual, historical, performance of the uboat force as "Major victory".
