Having a hard time mustering any interest in some mascot for some southern school.

The school should just keep the original mascot, as a nice shove-off to political correctness. If someone were to feel alienated by a stupid mascot, that's their decision to feel hurt. Whatever happend to the good old days, when the US wasn't so pussified?
