Default JSGME

A few questions:

1. Does SH5 come with its own mod manager (ie JSGME replacement/equivalent)?

2. If not, can you pls post here if JSGME is working or not.

Pls remember that at this stage you use it at your own risk - if DRM screws with your game, JSGME (thus I) won't be able to help you (heck, I don't think any non-Ubisoft tool would be able to help you). I just gotta say that to avoid the inevitable inundation of email.

I'll resume support for JSGME and the "new wave" of Ubisoft games only once I'm certain that JSGME does not create problems or compatibility issues through its normal use.

1. Does not seem to be. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough of course...

2. Yes, definitely.

SH5's file structure is practically identical to SHIII/IV - just a bunch of new additions for new features. The folder layout is much the same and many files are carried over.

1- Yep, no mod manager included. Yours is still the only game in town :-)

2- JSGME works flawlessly so far. Granted I've only used it for mods with one or two files each but still. Mod install/uninstall seems fine, I get a proper warning when something is about to be overwritten, generate/compare snapshots works and so does the export mod list.

Just to confirm with a second opinion.

Thanks guys. I should say that I expect the mechanics of JSGME to work - afterall all it does is copy files from one location to another. It's the impact that DRM/OSP/UPlay has that I am unsure of.
