Default OMG now I’ve seen it all

OMG now I’ve seen it all
Everyone’s talking about the periscope being on the side
If you look here and scroll down you will see the bridge view and see the binoculars are in the top left hand corner

Are you sure that pic wasn't edited by Neal to include both views at once?

If it is a PIP option, in addion to rather than replacing the normal Binocular view, then I like it.

It’s very simple The Enigma
If you look through a periscope is what you see in the centre or on the side
Also with binoculars is what you see in the top right hand corner
If it was I would either take them back to the shop or go and see an optician
It’s just not real the game is made for 10 year olds to buy when they are on
A shopping trip with their dads not serious simulator people like us
All in all the game is CRAP

king, your basing your belief on something you haven't played. how do you know the game is crap? Because you have had first hand experience on the final product? I guess not.

Thanks for helping me.
So you are upset about the small view at the upper left corner. OK.
Well, I agree, it doesn't contribute to the realism factor.

To say the whole game is cr*p, is a bit harsh, don't you think?
We have only seen some previews here.

I'm not sure if I understand the comment. I don't have an issue with how this is modeled. I do hope we get a full binocular view as well, my eyes arent what they used to be...

Looking at the screenshot, the modelling of the ocean appears to have been improved as well, especially the wave breaking over the bow, the foamyness, the wave amplitude. The Atlantic looks very forbidding, I can't wait to go back out....

But it's Silent Hunter Crap. And there's plenty here that will hold out their bowl for seconds.

Anyone mind explaining why the "crap binoculars" shot has two mouse pointers, one in each view, if it's ingame and not a result of Neals skills in PS?

Please take no offence, but I find this thread hilarious.

It is quite obvious that Neal has pasted the binoculars view onto the bridge view for comparison. But maybe it is just me.
