Default SH5 Simulator

I'm thinking of some ways to bring more immersion into the game.

One thought was to hook up misters on my monitor that spray when I'm surfaced. The only problem would be the keyboard!

Another would be a take off from some fighter flight chairs I have seen with sub woofers, but I would use an I/O controllers (PLC maybe) and some actuators to rock it back and forth with the wave action.

Of course having the red-blue-white lights for environment is a must.

Now with the surface conditions covered we need some underwater stimulus, any thoughts?

I should get a small lawnmower engine that sits next to me to simulate the engine room. Just have to pipe all the exhaust outside!

not all the exhaust, you want realism so you need a little loose exhaust in the boat

Ah, right. Maybe I can also spill some fuel here and there, for the realistic smell.

Hmm, in that case, I'd need to find a small diesel engine, after all we can't be smelling gasoline when it should be diesel!

Some greasy rags laying about to wipe your face wouldn't hurt!

Don't forget to only eat moldy food, and make sure to eat your daily lemon. Add a little diesel to it for that added touch. Don't shower or shave, either.

I have a Saitek Eclipse II...especially the red background light combines well with a Uboat-interior.
It's even dimmable.
