Reason why? You may hit your target ! I thought I'd try it, never have before. Nailed him.....then he nailed me.

He landed right on me.

Then I ran him over. To make sure he was dead.

In the long run...all I got was a scratch !

deck gun had nothing to do with it, the AA gun has the same result, its all in what point of the dive the planes is when it is destroyed and loses control, after that is just a rock going in a straight path so you can avoid this by holding fire when it gets too close then waiting untill it pulls up to fire again so its heading away from you when its destroyed.

depending on the mods you use and where it hits you, you could get little or no damage or you can be sunk or severely damage when this happens.
