What is the point of intellectual properties if anyone can take what they want anyhow..?

Today its no different. Corporate espionage, Government spies, even the kid on the block taking music or a game? I guess it depends on which side of the fence your on? Maybe? Because you really don't own anything.. The guys with the bigger guns decide that.
