Where's all my sounds gone ?

Hi all, been playing SH4 with UBM installed for some years now, but due to me reinstalling SH4 with UBM 1.5 installed and TMO 1.9, I seem to have lost some of my sounds. Like, no ping from the hydrophone,no ships engine sound from hydrophone, no sound from the periscope as it is raised or lowered, no hooters when battlestations are called. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate and it ran fine until a week ago when I reinstalled it. What have I done wrong?
